If you work for Sussex Police and are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking, harassment, coercive control or related harm, you can contact the ISPA service for safe, specialist support.

No management sign-off needed - staff can self-refer, and colleagues can signpost with consent.

Please note: scope boundary: survivor support only. The service is not a perpetrator programme, police investigation, HR service, legal service or emergency response.

One inclusive service, two different situations.
When the perpetrator is in policing
Additional considerations may include hierarchy, workplace contact, access to systems, Professional Standards processes, confidentiality concerns, retaliation and career impact.
When the perpetrator is outside policing
The survivor’s police role may still affect shift patterns, workplace safety, professional identity, safe communications, stigma and reputational concerns.
It is safe to ask for advice or support.

The ISPA will listen, provide information and practical options.
The ISPA is IDVA qualified.
Information will not be shared without your consent unless there is a safeguarding concern, a legal requirement or risk of serious harm.
