Role: Permanent, Part Time 22.5 to 30 hours excluding breaks
Location: working across Bognor and Chichester offices
Salary: £16,068 to £21,424 pro rata; (FTE £26,780)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre for a Communications Officer to join our small but extremely dynamic team. Working as part of the Fundraising and Communication Team, applicants should be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.
Ideally, candidates should have:
Minimum two years’ experience in an administrative, creative role or customer-facing environment – such as retail or events.
Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent; relevant creative role or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of social media use in representing an organisation - including Facebook, Instagram, Hootsuite and Mailchimp.
Ability to use Canva for internal design projects or to liaise with external designers, as required.
IT literate and confident with using technology, databases and Microsoft 365.
Excellent interpersonal skills; good communication and presentation skills; enthusiastic and flexible.
Ability to organise, delegate and prioritise workloads; ability to work as part of a team.
Resilience and adaptability with a passion to see women’s lives transformed.
Ability to act with integrity and accountability.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability.
Strong work ethic.
Knowledge and understanding of GDPR, confidentiality, Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and the promotion of equalities.
Full UK driving licence.
Currently, the Fundraising and Communications team comprises the Head of Fundraising and Communication, a Community and Events Fundraising Officer, and a part-time Trust and Grants Fundraising Officer.
My Sisters’ House (MSH) has a strong commitment to invest in this important area of work and the Communications Officer will work closely with the Fundraising Team to play a significant part in shaping the future of MSH.
