Complex Needs Worker- First Response Team Lead
Role: Permanent, Full Time - 37.5 hours excluding breaks, part time hours considered
Location: working across Bognor and Chichester offices
Salary: £27,862 to £28,418 - dependant upon qualification
An exciting opportunity has arisen at My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre for a Team Leader in our First Response Teams. Applicants should be SafeLives IDVA qualified or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in the DA/VAWG sector, with demonstrable leadership experience.
The successful applicant will lead and motivate staff and volunteers in the First Response Team to ensure the provision of consistent and high-quality frontline services to all women. You will be responsible for welcoming new clients, conducting initial and repeat triages, which are often complex, risk assessing, safety planning and ensuring the appropriate activity is taken to support their individual needs including safeguarding.
You will work as part of a team of specialists, supporting complex, self-identifying women, providing information, advocacy, and practical assistance in relation to a range of barriers including domestic abuse, current and historic, health and wellbeing, finances, combating social isolation, benefits, and housing.

Ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential, with leadership experience

Knowledge and understanding of the importance of multiagency working and GDPR, Confidentiality, Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and the promotion of equalities
IT literate and confident with using technology including databases and Microsoft Office 365
Full UK driving licence
