Domestic Abuse Team Lead

Role: Permanent, Full- time - 37.5 hours excluding breaks

Location: working across Bognor and Chichester offices

Salary: £27,862 - £28,419.00 IDVA qualification dependent

The successful applicant will lead, manage, and motivate staff and volunteers in both teams to ensure the provision of consistent and high-quality domestic abuse and frontline services to all women. You will work as part of a team of specialists, supporting complex, self-identifying women, providing information, advocacy, and practical assistance in relation to a range of barriers including domestic abuse, current and historic, health and wellbeing, finances, combating social isolation, benefits, and housing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a small team providing frontline domestic abuse support
• Manage a caseload of women with complex needs, conducting risk assessments and safety planning
• Deliver trauma-informed, recovery-focused one-to-one and group support
• Advocate for clients and work collaboratively with external agencies
• Identify and manage safeguarding concerns relating to adults and children
• Support the development and delivery of staff training and service improvements

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Relevant IDVA qualification (or willingness to complete SafeLives training)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with women with complex needs
• Experience in team leadership, supervision, and case management
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and multi-agency working
• Resilient, organised, and passionate about empowering women
• IT literate and confident with Microsoft 365 and case management systems
• Ability to work across both Bognor and Chichester offices
