We’re looking for compassionate and confident volunteers to join our team and help make Wellbeing Calls to clients who are waiting for financial support. These calls offer a listening ear and emotional reassurance to people who may be feeling isolated, anxious, or overwhelmed.
It’s a small commitment – but it makes a huge difference.
What’s Involved?
You’ll be calling clients who are on our waiting list, checking in to offer support, conversation, and a caring connection. You won’t be offering financial advice – just warmth, understanding, and a listening ear.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
Comfortable using IT and familiar with Microsoft Office
Organised and detail-focused
A good communicator – both over the phone and in writing
Respectful of confidentiality and professional boundaries
Emotionally resilient – some conversations can be challenging
Ideally has some understanding of safeguarding (we can support with this)
Time Commitment:
Just 2–4 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Ideally between 9:00am – 3:00pm
Plus, quarterly supervision (4 times a year)
We’re happy to be flexible with the hours – just let us know what works for you!
