We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the David Hunt Charitable Trust for their generous grant to help fund our volunteer services, and for hosting such a thoughtful and enjoyable afternoon tea for the charities they have supported this year.

The afternoon was a real pleasure. It was wonderful to spend time with the Trust’s team and to connect with so many inspiring local organisations. The conversations we shared were both encouraging and energising, reminding us of the power of coming together to learn from one another and to celebrate the impact being made across our community.

We were especially glad to spend time with other charities whose work links closely with our own, many of whom we already work alongside to support local women. It was heartening to see so many organisations, each playing a vital role, united by a shared commitment to care and support.

As we move into the Christmas period, moments like this feel particularly meaningful. They reflect the generosity and spirit of giving within our community, and the difference that thoughtful support can make at a time of year when many people are facing increased pressure and need.

The grant we have received will help fund our volunteer services, which play a crucial role in coordinating and supporting the volunteers who, in turn, support our key workers. This behind-the-scenes work is essential to ensuring our services run smoothly and that both volunteers and staff are well supported in the work they do with women.
