MSH, Official Charity Partner of Bognor Prom Running Festival 2027

We’re delighted to be the chosen charity for the 2027 Bognor Prom Running Festival

Save the date! Sunday 16 May 2027.

We're absolutely thrilled to announce that My Sisters' House Women's Centre has been chosen as the official charity partner of the 2027 Bognor Prom Running Festival, formerly known as the Bognor Prom 10K.

As a women's centre, our aim is to empower women, promote equality, and address challenges such as domestic abuse, poverty, and wellbeing. This opportunity will help us raise both vital funds through our share of the profits generated and awareness to continue supporting women across the Arun and Chichester Districts. Our supporters will also be able to raise additional funds for us through individual sponsorship.

Every year, nearly 2,000 runners take to the start line of the fast and flat course bringing together runners, volunteers and spectators. Fantastic local support and an inclusive spirit are always at the heart of the event.

In 2027, every step, every cheer and every mile will help us reach more women and children facing abuse across our local communities.

What makes this opportunity so powerful is that My Sisters’ House supports around 2,000 women every year. That's almost one woman supported for every runner taking part.

Set along Bognor Regis seafront, the Bognor Prom Running Festival will return on Sunday 16th May 2027. Please put this date in your diary now! Organised by Bognor Regis Tone Zone Runners and the Rotary Club of Bognor Hotham, the event will feature:

  • The iconic chip-timed 10K race

  • A NEW chip-timed 3K race for 12-15-year-olds

  • A 1.5K Junior Fun Run for children aged 14 and under

Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a bespoke medal and a leaflet detailing exclusive rewards and offers arranged with local businesses. Above all, the lasting reward is knowing you're helping make a difference in the lives of local women and families by choosing to stand alongside them.

This is more than a running event. The funds and awareness generated through this event will quite simply help save and change lives locally.

Avril Robinson, Chief Executive Officer of My Sisters' House Women's Centre, said:

"We are incredibly honoured to have been chosen as the charity partner of the 2027 Bognor Prom Running Festival.

Every day, we support women whose lives have been shaped by abuse, trauma and inequality, helping them find safety, rebuild confidence and move towards independence.

This partnership gives us an amazing opportunity to reach new audiences, raise vital funds and inspire more people to be part of the solution. Ending violence against women and girls is everyone's responsibility, and together we can help create a future where every woman and girl can live free from fear."

Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on your first challenge, bringing the family along, or cheering from the sidelines, we'd love you to be part of it. Entries open in December, with discounted early bird places available. Keep an eye out for further news from My Sisters’ House about how runners can raise additional funds to support the women we serve.
